“WHEN THE GOING GETS WEIRD, THE WEIRD TURN PRO.” —HUNTER S. THOMPSON

JAIMEE DEUEL-KRANZ

Jaimee Deuel-Kranz is an American poet, born and raised in Upstate NY. She’s worn a variety of hats in life including, but not limited to, rodeo girl, hotelier, intern, managing editor, social media director, locksmith, comic nerd, former emo kid, trivia connoisseur, witch, NY Rangers fan, event coordinator, (unfortunately) the only available person to act as campground security, and cat lover. A graduate of Hadley-Luzerne Central School District, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College and went on to earn her MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Her partner, Joshua, tries to get her not to procrastinate, while their three cats (Chunkamunk, Yoshi, and Kiwi) fight over whose turn it is to lay across her laptop’s keyboard.

Previous publications include Bloodroot Literary Magazine, Wingless Dreamer Publisher’s “A Field of Black roses”, and Grim & Gilded.

Black Lives Matter. Trans Lives Matter. Black Trans Lives Matter.

This poet stands with Ukraine.
